My book publication history in poetry, fiction and non-fiction allows me to offer a broad spectrum of manuscript editing skills across genres. Those eclectic writing skills are respected in my writing community, which is reflected in my multiple literary prizes as a recipient of provincial, national and international literary prizes in a variety of genres.
In my capacity as the Author in Residence for libraries, provincial writers’ guilds or author centres, I continue to be committed to developing writers by mentoring and offering critical feedback on their manuscripts. My decades-long experience in community involvement with other writers has led me to provide feedback and editorial advice on numerous manuscripts, which later became recipients of Canadian literary prizes or included in short-lists. As far as translation services:
I am a bilingual (Portuguese and English) author and editor. I have translated several literary authors between these two languages. I am also a published award-winning literary author in both English and Portuguese. With twenty-five years of experience in translation and as a professional writer, I have helped edit manuscripts by other award winning literary writers.

Translation Rate:
0.12 to 0.18 cents per word (depending on the complexity of the text)
